This can be done by standing in the queue a day in advance and filling the physical form there.

Free Bhasma Aarti Darshan process
- You need to stand in the queue before 8.00 AM when the counter opens to get the physical form
- Fill yours and your family details in the form as per the identiy card
- Documents required to gain entery is any government Id card like aadhar
- Total 5 member of a family are allowed including the primary person filling the form
- Photo copy of id card is not accepted
- Once you get the form filled you need to submit to the counter and get the free ticket stamped.
- You will get the details on the mobile number you entered in the form

You will need to wait for the next day and stand in queue for the free darshan. The free darshan devotees are allowed only to see the ongoing bhasma aarti from a moving queue, while the paid darshan devotees will be given a seat to witness the full aarti which starts at 4:00 am in the morning.

If you can afford to get a paid ticket its suggested to get it in advance and you can witness the divine aarti for close to 2 hours from the Nandi or Kartikey hall if booked early and reached early morning. Mostly suggested for families and senior citizens.
If you are young adult and want to experience the rush and want to save money possibly you can try the free darshan. The other reason can be if you do not want to witness the full 2 hours .
